not a bad price at all, its a 1/4 of the price the usual brewers favorite induction hob costs https://www.nisbets.co.uk/buffalo-in...FYIW0woddEACuA

tho that is 3kw not 2..

definatly worth a punt if considering trying biab with a suitable pot partial lidding and pot wrapping insulation should ensure a rolling boil even with 2kw input SHOULD!! to the best of my guesswork..

I started with an Andrew James 2.4 kw version. After using with my 19 L pot the base has split on both sides due to the 15 kg weight we often have in it. Maybe build some additional hob supports?
The Buffalo is all stainless steel and so far strong enough

So this would, with a brewfridge, enable entirely mancave run operations?

I got a 2kw one from Ikea for a similar price and it gets my 20lts pot up to the boil - not the most vigorous boil but certainly does the job
