Hi Guys, just started brewing and made the old mistake of overtightening the cap on my keg. After kegging I left in in the house for 5 days then moved it to my shed. It's been there for 4 days so I checked it this morning and found the problem with the cap. I have put it back in the house and gave it a stir. Has the priming suger now been used and will the beer build up any gas. Just guesing any help would be great. Cheers.

I was worried that if I added more sugar to prime it could make it too sweet?

Priming is basically the action of yeast munching on sugars and giving off C02 as a result.
Your initial priming sugars will have been converted to alcohol (amongst other products) so they will add no sweetness to your beer.
Hope that helps :thumb:

Thanks a lot for your help guy's i have sorted out the seal on the keg cap and added more priming sugar and will hope for the best.
