mat

i have looked on the net but cant really find anything , and what i can find i cant get me head around lol

Sure, if you've got the recipe?

Post what went into your wine, in what quantity and how much wine you've made and someone will help you out.

ok thanks

it was a kilo of granulated sugar
250 ml concentrated grape from a kit
4.5 litres of water half litre of apple juice but i put that in before i bottled it

Did you make to 4.5 litres or add 4.5 litres of water?

If you made to 4.5 litres, with 1kg sugar and your grape concentrate, fermented to dryness, I would estimate 14% alcohol.

the water was in the fermentin bin and the apple juice i added just before i bottled

You need an Ebulliometer . . . They are frighteningly expensive . . . Hamstead Homebrew do an Alcohol Testing Service using the ebulliometer they have for Beacon Valley Wines.
