It drives me up the wall, as does every xmas song ever made. But The Court Of The Crimson King is still one of the finest works committed to vinyl ever, and is still a very frequent visitor to my stereo! RIP...

You know king crimson is one band I always wanted to listen too but for some unexplicable reason never did, can someone recommend their best album.
 
I've got them all on vinyl. My favourite is Larks' Tongues In Aspic, then the aforementioned debut ITCOTCK, which is probably the most accessible of the lot. All great but I think they're an acquired taste, but I acquired it decades ago!
