When I moved to London two years ago, I left all of my homebrewing equipment back in Canada. Now, the itch to brew is back, so I am looking to start fresh with a setup suitable for small batch brewing in a small London flat.
My old brew setup was a 20L one-pot stovetop all-grain brew-in-a-bag set-up, water bath and a wet towel for temperature control, a few hundred scavenged bottles (mostly for cider and mead) and 3 corny kegs and a fire extinguisher rebuilt as a CO2 tank. I had a much-beloved yeast collection in the freezer which I built up on a homemade electromagnetic stirrer. I usually kept 2 kegs full of mild or berlinerweiss (unless I was feeling experimental) and 1 with an IPA or something stronger.
Since then, I've developed a taste for imperial IPAs and stouts, and strong Belgians, so we'll see what I end up brewing.
