so 2 weeks to the the day,
i brewed my first big brew, using my new peco boiler kit,
all went well, no issues, then it sat for 2 weeks @ 20*c
lots of bubbles, and was very pleased with myself.....
until today,
i checked the Fg ,,,, it started at 1.051 but after 2 weeks its only down to 1.023 :(

ive only checked it once,i shall leave it 2 days and see if its dropped anymore, i suspect not as was under the impression that 2 weeks in the fv should have it fermented out..
its a Hobble Wobble,,
so am i stuck? or just impatient ?

Which yeast did you use and how was it pitched?
It could be from either underpitching the yeast, insufficient oxygenation of the wort for the yeast to propagate properly, or a highly flocculant yeast which have dropped out of suspension. There are numerous more reasons, but these are the initial things that come to mind.

You can attempt to rouse some of the yeast back into suspension by gently rotating the FV, or with a sanitised paddle disrupt the trub layer. Alternatively pitch some fresh yeast and wait another 1-2 weeks.
