Made new 10 gallon boiler, the future is clear. Two elements, heats up in no time. New 66 litre mash tun constructed. I got this recipe off AT when I was doing extract and it was one of my favourites. I have changed it slightly.

50L

OG 1.054

Grain (60 Min mash at 68'c):
6.0kg Maris Otter
3.0kg Golden Promise
1.36kg Roasted Barley
250g Chocolate
500g Crystal Wheat malt
360g Wheat malt
600g Black treacle added at 20 minutes

1 Tablespoon pH5.2

2 Whirlfloc at 15 minutes

Yeast SO-04

Single hop addition
Hops Galena 12.6% 60g at 60 minutes

I even threw some brew out as there was no room in the fermenters to take it.

Two fermenters going nuts at the mo, foaming out the airlock.

Lots of people have done the treacle stout recipe and i never heard a bad word said about it, i got it on another forum. I'm not a stout drinker but i do love this stuff. Make sure you save me a bottle Bugno

I will indeed if it doesn't fit into my three new cornies with shiny taps   ;)

Am drinking this at the mo from the keg. Had it under nitro. I have to say its really really good. AT I have a few bottles. I will drop them over when they are ready.
