made some turbo cider yesterday morning.
20 litres of Tesco apple juice, cup of very strong tea,
5 tea spoons of yeast nutrient, packet of gervin wine yeast,
starting temp 26 degrees, now at 20, but nothing is happening,
I would of thought by now it would be bubbling, 29 hours later,
any thoughts. thanks sam.

I wouldn't worry it takes a lot longer to produce gas in the air lock than a Demi because of the head space in your FV.

I'm sure after another 24 hours you should see some activity.

Can you see anything happening? Any scummy looking stuff on the surface? Liquid slowly clouding up as the yeast multiplies?
ISTR when I used a Gervin wine yeast it took longer to get going than the cider or ale yeasts, had me worried at first but it was fine.

"I Seem To Remember".
Standard internet shorthand innit? Been around for, oooh, 15 years at least?
Anyway, you know now!

its now Thursday, been in for 5 days still nothing happening,
I think some thing is not right, was really looking forward to this,

Nothing happening at all?

It was juice and not "juice drink" ?

Bung more yeast in.
