Going to have a bash at a xmas beer, prob from the Greg Hughes recipe but reckon I'll wait till September time as it apparently takes 3mths to condition

I'm going to give the DIY Dog Santa Paws a try. It looks like a more sessionable Christmas beer than most recipes I've seen.

Last year I spent £28 on 8 bottles of Inveralmond's Santa's Swallie. This year I'll have 5 times as many bottles for half the price!

Oops a 4 or 5 golden stags. Well it knocked me sideways. Can't tell you what it was like but I drank a bottle of it. So can't have been that bad.

Ordered all the ingredients for the Greg Hughes Xmas ale this week. hopefully it will all arrive in time for brew day scheduled for this sat. all I need now of the ingredients list is some Star Anise....
