I have just been looking at a recipe on an American website which calls for "Red wheat" in the grain bill.
Anyone have any ideas where I can get this?
 
I did a bit of googling and found some US forum threads. I understood it to be that red wheat grows over the winter (harvested in spring) whereas white wheat grows in summer (harvested in autumn) and that for brewing purposes they end up pretty similar. If you can't get red wheat I'd go with a standard wheat malt in its place.
