Yesterday I received some very upsetting news.
My grandmother passed away at the grand old age of 97.
Now as a sort of tribute to her I’m planning on brewing one of her favourite drinks.
So come on everyone can you please help me out with a recipe for Manns Brown Ale.

Sorry to hear the news, condolences.

I have just googled 'Manns Brown Ale Recipe' and there seems to be one on the forum at Jims Beer Kit.

Hope this helps.

Hey CB
That's terrible news, so sorry to hear that and I hope the family are ok.

I've looked for that recipe before. You'll get nothing from batemans and arriving at a such a low gravity beer will be something of a challenge. There is a recipe at Jim's, but you'll need to pick your way through the discussion carefully.

Good luck and great idea!

 to the memories!

EDIT: Great link prolix!
