I live in Vancouver, Washington, USA.
I've been brewing since the late 90s and I brew more British style beers than any others (I have goldings growing in my backyard).
I also write a bit and have had pieces published in BYO and Zymurgy.
 
Greetings, if that's you're surname we might be related not many rooks out there. Not a rook myself but 1st cousins are, welcome to forums.

It's pronounced Rook but is spelled differently: German with the guttural uch at the end.
Mr. Rook was the name I used when I was doing some low level standup as a ventriloquist as a tip of the hat to Senor Wences.
My wife's name is Raven.
 
Yes, I was aware of that ... been fascinated by the birds for a long time, intrigued by their intelligence.
