Opening ceremony doesn't begin for another 4 hours but the Winter Olympics have already started, the qualification round for the smaller ski jumping hill has just taken place, preamble and practice runs are already being screened.
One TV in our house will be permanently tuned to Eurosport for the duration, and I will probably be sleeping on the sofa for the next fortnight or so (nothing unusual in that).
Even when I'm back at w**k on Monday, one computer will have vancouver2010.com constantly running in the background.
