Yep, you go in there for a loaf of bread, cheese, some tea bags etc., come out with all of this plus an angle grinder and a set of screwdriver bits :D

Beer / wine good too especially the Belgian stuff.
 
I love Lidl. They have a great selection of random Polish stuff, fairly decent produce, beers brewed by Wychwood but at less than £2 a bottle (I think it's branded Hatherwood, or something? A Lidl own brand, but brewed exclusively for Lidl by Wychwood), and a whole host of randomly cycling cheap electrical items that we don't need but definitely want.
 
I would never lower myself to go in Lidl
Aldi all the way for me :mrgreen:
 
The two closest shops to my house, only two minutes walk away, are Aldi and Waitrose sitting on opposite sides of the street. Such conflict!
