An idea for heater control.

This is just an idea I’ve come up with for controlling the temperature of a fermenter without compromising the integrity of the airlock.
I’ve only used a 22mm tank connector as one of my probes is too big to fit a 15mm.

This particular control, when set on min holds the temp between 19.7 – 20.2C.
I‘ve also used it for controlling demijons.
My way is to stand the demijohn(s) in a 2” bath of water and use the glass tube type heater.
When tested with water, the dj’s remained within 0.2C of the water bath.
The remote sensor is part of my weather system, so I can monitor the temp without having to go out to the garage!
