i have great insulation in my shed ...
the roof sides and floor Polystyrene Sheets 25Mm ...
and then boarded out with half inch ply..then painted with gloss paint..
it was my aviary ...
i also have a electic light and sockets ..
its now just a store for my tools /push bike and other ****...
iv also had in the past a tropical fish tank ...so i no how the heaters work ...
no mater if its 50 watts or 500 watts as long as there isnt to much water they will be fine...
it just means with less water it dont work as hard...

i will keep an eye on the shed ...
for condensation as you have alerted me to it ...

if i dont just put my heater in my fv direct...

if you have an FV of 30 litres, in a container slightly bigger - the most you're going to need is equivalent to 50 litres of liquid to heat up. you might end up with your heater working overtime, and have too hot water, or too much power, or your heater not on much, with larger temp fluctuations. and 300w uses more energy than 50w.

of course I could be wrong....

no im not going to heat up 300 litres of water lol...
just my bucket filled with water with my fv in it ...

or ill just put the heater in my fv...

after looking at the posts iv had .....
saying they do it that way ....
with nothing bad going on ...

im more going towards that way...
as for my 300 watt heater ...
i only bought a 300 watt one ...
as they dont need to work hard in small amounts of water ...
so should last longer ...
well thats the plan...

plus it will not be on long or very often...
as the shed is wind proof/ frost proof and so on ...
i spent alot of money on getting it like this for my budgies ...
which i had to get rid of last year ...

as i had a heart attack...
and so i was in and out of hospital alot ..
and i still am ...

but thats another story ...

i have got a rcd ....
i was useing it as a aviary ...
and didnt wont my budgies to be put at risk ....
