Hi all,

Just so I'm clear, I've just started fermenting a pilsner kit tonight(23 ltrs, 1kg of sweet goodies) and intend on leaving it about 10 days. Then I was going to drop in 25g of Saaz for 4 days, fish it out(its a tea bag) and then transfer everything to a secondary FV for 4 weeks of lagering. Does that sound ok?

I'm not speaking entirely from experience but you're probably better off dry hopping about 4 days before bottling.

The coopers lager. I have one going at the minute which I boosted with a citra tea. I'll let you know how it turns out. I can't compare it cos I haven't tried that kit on its own though

I think 10 days is rushing it. My normal procedure for lagers is three weeks in primary then into secondary to lager.
My last lager was an imperial pilsner that I dry hopped the last week of primary and the last week of lagering.
