Hi my Wilko cider is nearly ready to bottle. As wild blackberries are in season at present I'm thinking of adding their juice to the cider to make a fruit cider like "On The Rocks mixed berry".

Any advice on preparing blackberries or any other suitable flavourings would be appreciated.

Hi Guys
someone suggested adding Ribena. Anyone tried it? How much to use per 5 gall?

Also I see there is a strawberry Ribena. Anyone tried this?

ive never done it before. id prob add 1 ltr make sure you heat it up and let it simmer for around ten min allow it to cool and then add it, try and and let us know, you could half the batch just in case it doesn't turn out nice then id add 1/2 ltr to the 2.5 ltrs cider,

hope it helps

Why not pour a pint and add Ribena from a measuring jug a little at a time until you like the taste, multiply the amount you have used by 40 and add it to your FV.
