Evening

Brewed 10ltrs other day and split between 2 fermentors ,one munich yeast other windsor.

Munich was very rapid and is still going for it but windsor was slow and finished early(bubbling)

The colours are very different ,one blonde other ruby

Any thought as to why ??

I know very little about yeast other than i need it to brew and others say it alters your beers taste :wha:

This is batch No7 and only my first was undrinkable the rest have been interesting and deffo quaffable,i just need to leave them longer in the bottle to see improvement i think? :drink:

Not used either yeast OD, was put off using Windsor by other members.

I've split brews before though, one with 04, the other with 05 and there was a remarkable difference in taste and slightly in colour.

If you don't experiment you don't know what you like
