Just noticed this in Tesco for £1.30 for 500ml bottle. Although it could have been around for ages.
Just wondered who actually brews it.
Haven't tasted it yet.

Sainsburies are marstons and ASDA are shepherd neame but I can't remember what Tesco are but the bottle looks like a Marstons.
 
I've had one - its a bit meh. Quite partial to picking one up for Steak and Ale pie purposes though.
 
Got one the other day to try, I had low expectations but its not bad for a cheap bottle. Unlike all the other supermarket beers it doesn't say who the brewer is but the bottle matches Marstons but also Adnams use the same bottles and many others. Also noticed contrary to my previous post Sainsburys brand beers can be either marstons or shepherd neame.

I agree, it's not bad for the price whoever brewed it. I'll certainly get a couple more next time I'm in Tesco.
