I have noticed someone is selling a sankey keg fitting. Please do not use has a keg realise. Valve. To remove the spear. In the keg. They have a specialist tool for this. These operations can be very dangerous if done in correct also your messing with Co2. You can drown in this gas yes don't be fooled when using Co2. All pub cellars have a warning before entering the cellar. Does the average home brew person I think not. So please guys be careful with these fittings I know we all do things in good faith but some people need advice. If you need a little drop me a pm.

The very best guys. Good brewing.

What is it then? If it releases the pressure and disengages the safety surely that's exactly what it is? Surely this is better than removing the safety and jerry-rigging a PRV by removing the non-return valve like a lot of people do.

Dear HBF members - just a word of caution - the use of high pressure gas can be dangerous if fixtures, fittings, receptacles and any associated equipment are modified, adapted or otherwise 'tinkered with', or if all instructions are not adhered to. If in doubt, speak to a reputable supplier for their advice.

So please be careful, and HBF cannot be held responsible for any advice, correct or otherwise, that might be given on the forum.
