So I've currently got 20 bottles of ale fermenting and 6 bottles of rose wine fermenting.
Just realised I may have made a massive rookie mistake!
The ale kit instructions said to add 3 litres of warm water, stir well and then add 7 litres of cold water.
This 10 litres of water all came out of my kitchen tap......should all of it been boiled and then cooled? could I have infected/ruined all my batches?
