Hi all.

I want to make some of the above. I tried a bottle from Godshill Cider Company and it was fabulous. I cant find a recipe for it.

I did something which seemed sensible at the time and got a barrel of stout on the go thinking i would merely draw some off before it went in the barrel and then make half a demi of raisin wine and top it up.

Do you think this would work?

Sounds interesting.

I would suggest making the two as separate batches and then blending before bottling. That way you can adjust the ratios to get a flavour you like.

What ABV are you going for? And are you trying for a strong beer type drink or a wine with a stout background taste?

Paul.

Im aiming for a wine. The one I tasted reminded me of a sherry. I dont worry about ABVs. When it looks ok, i rack it. When its cleared and tastes OK i drink it.
