I've put on a Blonde Ale style beer today (relatively low gravity but high aroma). Given the weather I have had to move the mashing indoors with my 5 gallon setup. The outside tap is frozen shut and the hose is also rock solid so it was nice to start the day in the utility room rather than the garage.

The temperatures have also meant that I won't be able to use my CFC so I will need to go old school and fill the bath up to chill.

I just leave mine outside to chill at the mo. Takes a few hours! Looks like a great beer. Good luck pal :)

I have done that with evening brews and then pitch the yeast in the morning. The bath method is fine although I was being watched by SWMBO as I climbed the stairs in case there was any spillage.

looks a good 1 , may have to try brew this me thinks . Hope it all went well for you and turns out a great drink.
