Recommend a vacuum sealing machine

I also use the Andrew James unit. Works perfectly. This is the one I got. As well as vacuum sealing the hops it can reseal plastic grain bags with the 'heat seal only' option if you take care to just trim off the corner when you cut them open.

Thinking re seal the hops and put them in the freezer..
I had to stop!! Be nowt in when our lass gets home...apart from loads of sealed bags all ova...lol

Regarding the canisters.

1) The door on the main unit needs to be fully closed to use canisters.

2) Connect the tube.

3) The canister should be set to open.

4) Press canister only button. It may take a minute or more to knock off automatically

5) Turn switch to closed.

6) To remove the tube from the canister, twisting anticlockwise as you pull helps the tube release.

Putting the canister onto something to stop it sliding about may make this more manageable with one handed operation.

Thought it just my tiny Brain that struggled!!
 
I had a food business for years providing sous vide food.
I used the Andrew James vacuum sealer. Did 1000s of bags and still going.
