FG - 1008°
ABV - 4.5%

Never done a one of these so hopefully i'll get some feedback if anyone has tried this and whether they did anything different....it's a good size tin and Muntons have changed for formula and branding so maybe worth doing this one or maybe worth a re-visit if you have done it in the past.

Cheers Dave

Thanks for posting - I had a quick watch.

Looking at your OG and FG, by the maths I use, I reckon you'll end up with an ABV of around 4.8 in the Keg/bottles:

(1.042-1.008)/0.0074= 4.59% ABV after primary

Plus around 0.2%ABV for (say) 80g priming (cane) sugars, based on 18g yielding 1%ABV in 1 litre.

So, quite strong for a traditional bitter. I like to work it out, but the main thing is if it tastes good!
