Barrelled Woodford's Admiral's Reserve about 3 weeks ago, and with untried kits I always do 4 bottles as testers. I usually crack the first one after 4 weeks, but lack of beer in the house caused me to break with tradition!! Very pleased with the result, the beer is already nice and clear, and has a taste reminiscent of London Pride. Looking forward to the barrel being ready. Also tried my Cooper's European Lager, again far too early, I usually leave lagers in the bottle for at least 8 weeks. This was also nice and clear, and a very pleasant lager, but probably not quite the Bavarian style I was hoping for? I would say it's a pleasant but ordinary Lager, but as it came out at about 5.4 I'm not complaining. :thumb:
