Hi, I hope someone can help me. I have a few questions, my LIDL boiler has just quit on me, the thing wouldn't power up. I opened it up and bypassed the electronics so that the mains went straight to the element and it works, but obviously no temperature control, complicated story but that was fine for what I needed at the time. Now I need it back the way it was. Can I use a STC1000 to take over the control?
Will I be able to use the already installed temperature probe , and can it directly switch the mains on for the 1800W element?
