No krausen

Hello

I'm a week in to brewing my hambleton bard old English ale.

All the way through, its been bubbling away nicely, but at no point has it developed any krausen

Yesterday, iv gave it a little shake and today I have noticed a slight foam on top.

I no longer have a hydrometer but I was wondering if this was normal

I've been breweing beer for a few years and iv never noticed this before

Yeah, it could be a yeast I've never used before. To be fair, its also the first hambleton bard kit I've ever done. Hopefully its ok then. Still bubbling away!
