Christmas beer extract idea

Hi all,
Here's the plan:
Christmas Beer
Coopers IPA kit (1.7kg)
1kg enhancer
500g dark malt extract
200g candi sugar
wyeast liquid strong belgian ale yeast
Brewed short to 20l
orange peel, coriander
dry hopped with something spicy 50g approx (recommendations pls)

I am hopping for about 8% finishing abv.
Any suggestions gladly received. Cheers

I calculate at more like 6% ABV but really I think that would be enough. I have found a high ABV does not make a nice tasting beer, better half the ABV and drink twice as much.

Thanks. Can you recommend a calculator for working out this please. I agree totally about abv. Just wondered how a strong ale yeast strain would pan out @ 6 percent

Why not go for a Brewferm kit,think they do that type of beer,or do your own with all extract and ditch the kit . Use the recipe builder on here,it's really quite easy:thumb:.
