Never done one of these white kits. There is the option to use the oak chips for an oaky flavour or to omit them. Apart from the obvious comments about preferences etc has anybody tried both ways - comments appreciated. :whistle:
 
Ok so this had appeared to have stopped. No movement at all and SG stable at 0.992 for a few days. Yesterday I stabilised, degassed and added Kieselsol. This morning I am getting a bubble through airlock every few minutes. Added chitosan anyway. Still getting the odd bubble. Was looking to bottle on Friday once clear but should I be worried?

Should not have worried.
Bottled this yesterday and as a non white drinker it is VERY nice. Really pleased with it. I added the oak but it is not obvious. Wife and daughter liked it too. The latter thought it was shop bought.
Thoroughly recommended.
