fwiw for 12v dc pump control the off the shelf 2 to 3A 0-18V tattoo gun power supply units for circa ã10 are a nice and easy solution providing an easy dial up/down speed control with voltage output indicator, needing only a minor mod to make the footswitch control redundant, and a 1/4" mono jack plug fitting onto you pumps power supply lead. .
blutack a pc case fan on top and it doubles up as a stirplate psu too
you can source 2 output types too but they are mutually exclusive supplies so you cant run 2 pumps concurrently from a single device, but can switch between 2 x pumps without exchanging power plugs..
