Hi guys

Can anyone tell me if there is a brew that comes close to the theakstons old perculiar.
It is a tipple of mine i enjoy alot and wondered if i could come close to the lovely flavour.

I think my OP IV is pretty close to the original (ie the one brewed at Masham just before/after the take over by Matthew Brown . . . not the S&N one :sick: ) . . . Unfortunately I would have to find the recipe which is stored on the PC somewhere . . . I'll post it into the recipe calculator when I find it

I know what you mean about when it moved for some reason it went flat quickly and my local stopped buying it for months.
Not Sure if im advanced enough to do a receipe yet but thanks anyway.

Hi. have you tried Graham Wheelers book? its ok but now having made well over 40 gallons ihave made some alterations and at my last test ie- bottle of the real stuff and my own brew conclusion its almost the same. :drink:
