Just intrigued at this point but does anyone have an extract/partial mash recipe for a sour beer?

Seems to be a bit of a trend for them and tried one, quite liked it.
 
Wow! That's a fair bit of time to get sour. I might try it next year now given it suggests some warm temps.

I'd love to do a sour, but they take too long, I have a few boon oude gueuze down the shed and it's a blend of 1-3 year old lambics with a best before date of 2032! So whilst they might take a while to mature they don't go off quickly :-)

If you do make one it can be hard to stop the FV you used from souring subsequent brews as the bugs in the FV are hard to remove. So the advice I've seen on the forum is to keep your sour beer FV separate.
