Hi Guys

I'm about to brew a belgium blond but unsure of the mash temp. Can someone point me in the right direction. Cheers

I'm not a belgium beer specialist, but I mashed my last two (blonde and amber) belgian ales (Malt Miller recipe) at around 66.5 C and they turned out OK. Not sure if there is official guideline on low or medium mash temp for this style.

Belgian beers are normally mashed for fermentability, go for 64/65* and you should be good.
Are you adding candi sugar? A strong beer should include around 10% otherwise the malt is a bit too dominant.

Ooh one more question what temp should I sparge at, I read somewhere that I should heat my hlt to 80 is this correct. Sorry for the question I'm still a fledgling. Gratitude Nick nack noo

To get a batch sparge temperature of 75/76 you need sparge water that is hotter than that, i usually go for about 82-85 but it depends on your method, system and grain quantity etc. Something similar will apply to fly sparging.
