On my second brew. The first one was ok with 2 carbonation drops in each 740ml pet bottle. I have since got a load of glass bottles varying from 630 to 660 ml. Perhaps I'm being overcautious but would I be ok with 2 drops in the smaller bottles or should I drop to one and half drops?

When I first started out with kits I’d use 2 drops per 500ml bottle and the carbonation was good. They were plastic PET bottles though so less risk of bottle bombs.

i only use carb drops and use two drops for a 500ml bottle that i believe gives around 2.6 which is well carbonated and is how i like it. i tried just one and for me it was undercarbed.

to mix it up a bit i am going to put some of my next batch into 330 bottles and will use 1 tab then to give a slightly less carbonation level.

so for 630 defo two id say- would give you about 2.2

Play around with the above calculator to work out carbonationn levels
