My prefered tipple in the late 80's when down sarth, was Younger's #3 However never seen a recepie for it anywhere.
Anybody know of one?

there's a blast from the past. I remember Youngers no3 being one of the small quantity of real ales available in NE England in the 80's.

Me too and I drank copious quantities of the stuff. Totally loved it and I'm going to have a crack at brewing something like it this weekend. If it's any good I'll post the recipe.
