Flavouring TCs when pouring

I know some of you do not bother making 'flavoured' TCs but prefer to add a splash when popping the bottle and pouring.

I appreciate this may be somewhat subjective and trial and error but as a guide - how much do you prefer to use of Lowicz for example per 500 ml bottle?
 
I've just done my first strawberry cider and although I've yet to crack a bottle, I'm already inclined to think that adding syrup after pouring is going to produce results much more like commercial fruit ciders for those that like them.
