Sorry to ask so many questions, but Ive never before found a community of likeminded brewers over the years Ive been brewing !

Who is your preferred supplier and why ?

I have no local HBS,and thus have to resort to mail order, which I dont mind, but I do find the service is patchy at best.

Some of the places Ive tried dont even brew themselves !

Cheers
BBD

The malt miller defo is good robs a good egg.

Barley bottom also have a good service.

& I found the thriftyshopper.co.uk excelent also.

& if you are after something a bit out of the ordinary and don't mind the postage Ross at craft brewer provides a very good service.

I am very lucky to be just around the corner from "The Home Brew Shop" in Aldershot they have pretty much evrything a home brewer needs they do mail order & "Thermomiters Direct" is another side to the buisness also usefull for us homebrewers, what they hav'nt got & it isnt much, "Hop & Grape" have, they (H&G) can supply grain in spacific quantities to suit a given recipe, saves on waste & cost :thumb:

Hop and grape darlington my localish homebrew store have a comprehensive range of hops liquid yeasts and specialist grains as mentioned above they will even measure out exact grain quantities for you. Delivery is next day too. Very knowlagable and friendly too.

I used to live in Blackwater but wasn't brewing then. Now living in Southwater near Horsham but still drive to Aldershot. Really like the staff and they're so well stocked.

The maltmiller is good for hops, and Hop and Grape are good for exact grain quantities and all other stuffs in general....bearing in mind I'm a tight git!
