Hi - I'm after some advice for a change.

I have a Coopers Wheat kit and it suggests 300g Dextrose but I am buying a barrel from thriftyshopper and they only sell lactose, so I was wondering, what is the difference? Can I use lactose as a direct replacement?

I also have a Brew Ehancer No1 - could this be used to replace th 500g LME ad 300g Dextrose (or Lactose!) that the Cooper kit recommends?

Once again, thanks in advance.

Cheers

Kenny.

Lactose is non fermentable is used to sweeten, the dextrose is fermentable so no to your first question.

Yes to the second.

cheers Keith - quite a difference in lactose and dextrose then !!!

BE No1 it is then - Thanks
