Just tried my first all grain, a summer ale made using maris otter, crystal malt, and hopped with fuggles and ekg. Its only 11 days old in the bottle but its already fantastic, just a step above kits thats more noticeable than i expected, really glad that my 5 hour brewday wasnt wasted. Ill still be doing kits aswell because i love them too but ill definately be planning alot more all grain batches! Ill be doing a stout in the next few weeks so ill be sure to post pics of my brewday.

Well done.

It only gets better from here, there's no going back

glad to hear it I will be popping my cherry soon.

:drunk:  :drink:

I think that says it all, you'll make the odd one you won't be sure of but find some favourites, to be your go to confidence builders. Mine is my old speckled hen recipe and cascade SMaSH
