Hi all, I've done a lot of googling around this problem and still haven't figured out a solution.
I'm building a HERMS setup, with the temp sensors (DS18B20s for use with raspberry pi) in the plumbing, in 1/2inch thermowells (these ones: https://www.brewbuilder.co.uk/thermowell.html)
Now what I can't figure out is how best to place the sensors in the thermowell, since the sensors themselves come in their own small thermowell (ebay link below) which can fit inside the 1/2" thermowell. Do I just butt this up against the end of the large thermowell and hope for the best, or should I try to extract the sensor itself and paste it into the large thermowell.
Would be very interested to know what other people have done with their DS18B20s.
