Anyone tried sliders before?

Only just come across the idea.

Basically it's the fruit from sloe gin covered in cider for a few weeks.

I have 2 large kilner jars on the go at the moment

I'll let you know!

its in a book i have but never tried it, have to try and find some sloes first!

apparently its quite potent..let us no if you end up sliding down the wall.

Can't say I'd know what to do with the steeped sloes if I didn't make "slider".

Been making it for years! Don't trust it to keep long though, it obviously has much lower alcohol content than sloe gin. But then I can't trust myself to keep it long either.

Reckon at best it will keep 2 weeks, planing on a Burns Night party this weekend (a bit early i know but Im away for work on Burns night) so planing on it getting drunk then

I'll keep you all posted

Making Slider is as much a tradition as making Sloe gin is in our house!
I never keep it though, just top up the sloes, shake, strain, then drink ASAP...
