various brews

Following my very average initial foray into brewing (wine kit from boyes), I've had another go. Currently brewing:

30 bottle Kenridge's red wine
5l turbo cider
5l pineapple wow

Racked the wine today and looking OK. Leaving the tc another week before bottling, and just started the pineapple wow today.

Will update on success (or otherwise)!

Is that a water bath (water container and fish tank heater) or just a safe place to stand the DJ's?

It's just a storage box chippy tea. Had visions of the turbo cider going mental and bursting out of the DJ!! Ã°Å¸ËÅ

Update:

Turbo cider bottled - tasting tomorrow
Kenridges - ready to be bottled - not holding my breath!
Pineapple WOW - eerm, cloudy - I'll give it a couple more weeks.

The turbo cider. Pretty darn good even I I say so myself!

Haven't bottled the kenridge yet. Will check the pineapple wine tomorrow and start another tc (a touch stronger the next one).

Cheers guys. TC now gone and very good for the most part. A bit of sediment towards the end of each bottle but I'm not complaining.

Kenridges - I will bottle at some stage, if i can motivate myself!
pineapple WOW - still cloudy - will check in another week
Another TC - got another DJ on the go today - forgot the cup of strong tea :doh:

might put it in later (it's "offsite").
