I'm sure it has been asked plenty of times before, but I'm interested in starting my first AG brew. I have a little money so wondering if I should invest in this BIAB starter kit (http://www.thehomebrewcompany.co.uk...iler-chiller-mashing-bag-mash-kit-p-2426.html) or if I should buy a mash tun and do things that way - what do we think?

Other than that I have a 12l pot in the kitchen, although nothing else other than the usual home brew equipment such as fv, spoons, etc!

Any help appreciated - the options out there are confusing! Thanks.

I'm about to bottle my third BIAB using this kit. I think it's great value for money, especially with the chiller.
Don't forget you will need some hose and fittings for the chiller.

I'd say go for it. Worst case is that you end up going down the mash tun route later but you've still got a boiler and chiller you can use.

Very happy with mine 3 brews in and think I may use it till it breaks (hopefully no time soon....)
