Hi All

This might be a stupid question but is there a difference between:

Malted Oats and Malted Flaked Oats...

My recipe calls for Malted Flaked Oats but my usual supplier only had Malted Oaks. And I sat here wondering if there is a difference :)

Pretty sure that malted oats need to be crushed before adding to the mash. If they're flaked-malted then you can just tip them right in.
