Hi guys.

I am making a bottling bucket with a bottling wand. My question relates to how long to leave in the bottling bucket after priming, before you bottle the beer?

Gut instinct says too long and and you loose some of the co from secondary fermentation but I need to leave it long enough for any trub to settle so what is the right amount of time?

I rack mine onto my boiled quantity of sugar(cooled) and bottle there and then:thumb:

I've started leaving mine half an hour, by accident more than anything else, and it makes no noticeable difference to doing it straight away, just be careful when you rack to the bottling bucket.

I actually told a whopper previously:lol:
My last brew was left for well over an hour in my 'sugared' bottling FV as i was called away:doh:. Most probably doesn't make a toss of difference.

If like the other day I lost my sediment trap and sucked up some trub.. I leave it a bit to make sure it settles out.

However if I get a clean siphon I dont tend to find it makes a lot of difference to whether you bottle straight away or 30 mins later..
