As above. I get about 5 dessert spoons of trub which I keep in a jug in the fridge. I use it within a few days and it gets the next brew going within a couple of hours. Simple but effective.
 
Bottom cropping is great. I've started doing two harvests from a brew. First harvest I fill a 250ml bottle with fermenting beer from just below the krausen 24-36 hours after pitching (this will go into a starter onces its fermented out and is kept in the fridge till I need it). The second harvest is simply filling a jar of from the bottom of the the FV once I've packaged.
