Hello to all:hat:

today was my second all grain biab brewday!!

i did a small batch, because at my first one i made some mistakes that this time i didnt!!! being a smaller batch made it easier!!

i did a blonde ale for the summer, light, blonde and a lot of aroma, to face the hell, that is the summer here in Portugal!!!

i used for a 12L batch:

2.520 kg Pils malt
0.210 kg Carablonde/hell
0.050 kg crystal 120

20 EKG 6% - 60 minuts
11 Crystal hops 2.8 - 15 minuts
20 Crystal hops 2.8 - 2 minuts

mash 75 minuts at 66.8 C
boil of 60 minuts
2.4g irish moss at 17 minuts

OG 1053
yeast s-05

i just hope this will be a nice refreshing beer for the summer!!:cheers:

After three days gravity is 1014..... the airlock is bubbling nice and easy!!
and the smell, oh the smell is wonderfull..... :-D the crystal hops are a surprise for me....the aroma....even the taste from the sample is nice!!
at 5 days i will rack it to secondary and then at 10th day i will bottle it!!!

the final result: a very gold, refreshing, fruity summer ale!!

when i tried it, was 36ºC in the shadow.... Portuguese summer :?
