No, i used to make £20 kits from the range store, I just wondered how much a kit with a name I recognise from the forum would cost.

I did look at the cheaper kits, but was advised (by a very believable man - as I'm sure they all are) that these kits were a different class and as I'm new to this I thought I would stick to something I know.
If I get 30 good bottles for £43 I'll be happy :)

I kept thinking I had found it cheaper online, but once you added the postage it was all roughly the same.
The local home brew shop will appreciate your custom.

Thats why i prefer plastic, it does not look as good but it is safer.

Ok, so opened a bottle last night, been a month since bottling and wow, what a wine. Pretty much as good as any bottle I've bought, there's no way you could tell it was a homebrew, well happy.
Can't wait to open several more at Christmas!
